The Rookie Competition is an inspiring opportunity for young females aged 15–17 to experience life as a professional cricketer and gain behind-the-scenes access to one of the world's biggest cricket competitions.
Designed to inspire the next generation of female athletes, The Rookie spends an unforgettable day with one of the 8 new look Women's Hundred team - London Spirit, MI London, Manchester Super Giants, Trent Rockets, Welsh Fire, Southern Brave, Leeds Sunrisers and Birmingham Phoenix. The Rookie will be immersed in the professional environment, connecting with elite players like Nat Sciver-Brunt, Danni Wyatt-Hodge, Issy Wong and Lauren Bell.
Throughout the day, The Rookie will receive expert coaching, invaluable advice, and unique insights into what it takes to compete at the highest level of the game.

How it works
Applying is simple. Entrants are invited to submit either a short video or presentation explaining why they should be selected as The Rookie.
All applications are reviewed and once selected, Take Her Lead will make all arrangements for the experience and will accompany The Rookie throughout the day, along with a parent/guardian, ensuring a memorable and fully supported experience.
