Competition Terms & Conditions

Competitions and Giveaways: Winners will be chosen by the means specified in the original competition information. Depending on the nature of the competition, a third-party app may be used to randomly generate, or a selection will occur by an unbiased panel where applicable. Selection will occur on the specified date and time, and the winner notified by means specified in the original competition announcement. Where the competition is held on social media, this may include the comment section of the original post, via direct message (“DM”), or other means as specified. Winners will be notified within 3 days of the prize draw end date, or the date specified in the original competition information. The winner will need to respond within 2 days, or the time specified in the winner communication, otherwise a new winner will be chosen. Take Her Lead can accept no responsibility for entries not received for whatever reason. 

Competitions on social media: Giveaways, promotions and contests are in no way sponsored, endorsed or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.

Eligibility: Giveaways and competitions are only open to residents of the United Kingdom, over the age of 18, unless otherwise specified. For a social media competition, if people under the age of 18 wish to enter, they must do so through an account belonging to someone aged 18+, with the full permission of the account holder. For other competitions where it is specified someone under 18 may enter, contact details for a parent/guardian must be provided, and enter with their consent. The prize, or relevant communication, will only be sent to someone aged 18 or over. Entries must be made by a valid, personal account only. Only one entry per person is allowed per competition or giveaway, unless otherwise stated in the original competition information. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter any competition, unless otherwise stated in the original competition information. 

Where the competition requires anything to be produced (including, but not limited to, photo, edited image, video or written entry), all work must be original works and must not breach copyright of any third party. By submitting any work, you confirm that you have created original work and have the right to utilise the content contained.  

Consent: On providing a photo, comment, share or other engagement, entrants are consenting to their photo, handle, name, associated hashtags and comments being shared or used across Take Her Lead social media channels, website and other publications.

Decisions: Competition decisions are final and no correspondence about these decisions will be entered into by Take Her Lead or any associates. Any comment, "like", engagement with or response to an entry by Take Her Lead or associates does not influence the outcome of a random draw, a final decision, or the selected winner. 

Notifying winners: The winner/s will be contacted by the means specified in the original competition information. Where the competition is held on social media, this may include commenting on the original post, by direct message (“DM”), or other means as specified. Take Her Lead is under no further obligation to inform entrants, other than contacting the winning entrant directly, or the general public as to the winner.

Contact information: Winners will be asked for relevant contact details to distribute the prize/s. These details will only be used for sending out the prize and for any relevant communication regarding the competition. Personal data will not be used beyond this purpose, unless consent is specifically given.

Prize distribution: Where relevant,  specified prizes will be sent within 10 days of the winner confirming their contact details. Digital prizes (e.g. Match Tickets) will be sent via or email or relevant digital platform (e.g. The Hundred app). Physical prizes will be sent by Royal Mail. Take Her Lead cannot be held responsible for problems relating to non-delivery or delay in delivery once they have been sent. Take Her Lead is not responsible once the items have been posted and cannot accept responsibility for any issues with delivery that is out of its control. 

Not transferable: All prizes are non-exchangeable and are not transferable.

Agreement: By participating in any prize draw, giveaway or competition, entrants agree that they have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Entering any Take Her Lead giveaway or competition means acceptance of these rules, terms and conditions
